Identifying the Support Gap
During my years in legal practice, I noticed a persistent, and incredibly costly (both emotionally and financially) pattern: the support gap.
Lawyers are experts at the law and the application of legal principles, but the rigid and ruthless nature of the legal system leaves little room for the human experiencing it. Between billable increments, overworked solicitors, competing client demands and significant time constraints, solicitors rarely have the space to hold the floor for your emotional processing, or clear up the natural confusion of the process.
I saw firsthand how emotional overwhelm paralyses people from making the clear, strategic decisions required to move their lives forward. This disconnect leads to stalled negotiations, emotional exhaustion, and - most notably - skyrocketing legal bills.
I realised that when clients have a dedicated strategist to help them filter out the heavy noise and navigate the system, the entire trajectory of their separation changes.
I am here to bridge that gap. Consider me the filter who clears the fog so you can ask your legal team the right questions and execute their advice from a calm and centred place. When it’s time to make high-stake decisions, you won’t be reacting - you’ll be leading.
The Personal Edge
My approach combines a mastery of high-pressure legal stakes with a sophisticated understanding of human psychology. This isn't basic emotional support; it is a distinct strategic advantage.
I understand exactly what your lawyer needs from you to run your case effectively, because I have been that lawyer. By providing you with a tailored roadmap to navigate the storm, I ensure you aren’t just surviving your separation—you are architecting your next chapter.
I am here to bring the calm to the chaos, knowing that something truly spectacular awaits you on the other side.
Trust me - I’ve seen it happen many times.
Now let’s get you there.
Kismet
Hi, I’m Kismet

Take a deep breath and a giant exhale - you’re navigating a lot right now, but we are about to make the path forward feel a whole lot less daunting.
Mastering the System (So You Can Navigate It)
How did I get here? My approach is built on a deep understanding of human behaviour, backed by Criminology and Psychology majors and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Melbourne. My legal studies journey spanned Australia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States, leading me into a high-level career at one of Australia’s premier family law firms.
For seven years I climbed the ranks to Senior Associate, handling a range of matters from complex property disputes involving multi million dollar asset pools to deeply sensitive and high-stakes parenting matters. I strategically managed cases involving high-conflict parties trapped in relentless litigation who were at the mercy of the judicial system.
I know the legal battlefield inside and out because I lived it.
My career has been diverse and deeply rewarding, pushing me to advocate for people in their most vulnerable moments. Beyond corporate family law, I’ve assisted on capital punishment matters in the U.S. and represented clients in Victoria and the Northern Territory across complex family law, criminal law, domestic violence, and child protection matters. Whether in high-stakes mediations, case conferences, or directly before the Court, I have been the calm, steady voice for my clients. But over time, I realised that true advocacy requires more than just fighting inside the system - it requires empowering you outside of it.
That drive to create real change led me to co-found Re.Build—an initiative designed to help individuals achieve financial, emotional, and legal independence after separation. Here we provided the ultimate playbook for building confidence, conquering the legal system, and mapping out a future to actually look forward to.
